"So Proton has LOWERED the standard for foreign car manufacturers and
this is something that we should not be proud of."

Well that's what you will get when you use our toilet paper to pay
foreign ppl! Just got this news: "A clerk was ask to remit some money to
office here then the bank said no trade RM in HK so he went back & sit on
his desk while the boz here tot the money sudah sampai today" sad case of
bad directives & stupid workers abit like our Big-G yah!

It is because we owned Proton, that's why we have to make noise on things
we do not satisfy, that;s why we care...that's why we dont bother to make
noise if GM, Ford or other car maker screw up, coz we dont owned them...

As a responsible share holder, we have to voice up our dissatisfaction,
comments and suggestions, hoping that Proton & Gov would listen, as we are
not only a consumer, but also the share holder...but, do they listen???

I fully agree. I we keep silence means no feedback or complain and that's
mean no need improvement and it may tend to be even worst than current.

But that doesn't mean anything...Proton still produce poor quality cars..
I agreed that with the price of the car is the quality we will get but at
least keep improving with cost competitive. Some parts in the Proton cars
can be improve/change a better one or etc with very low cost (or even
zero) and yet they neglect and produce more new 'face lift'....etc that
came with similar problem. waste money to repair!!!!

Why should Proton be protected?????????

1. To enhance country economics by preventing money flowing outside country
.. go to korea / japan.

2. Because proton already invested too much in their factory's and R&D and
other acquisition.

3. To protect the vendors and suppliers.

patient lah my friend .. wait another 10-20 years .. i think with the right
CEO we should be driving good malaysian made cars in the future. Be like
Koreans ... 90% are driving Hyundai and Kia ... Japanese and Continental
cars are almost non-existence .. From Mini Cars, Saloon, Lorry, Pick Ups,
MPC SUV all Korean Made. By the way Japanese Cras are not allowed to be
imported into korea until few years back .... The Koreans hate the Japans.

You expect us to only drive potong, peroduas, nazas, and inokoms?

At least the koreans never screw their own countrymen.

With every success there is always sacrifice.

Proton is still at the 'teething' stage . Of course there will be some
black sheep .. some assoholos screwing around but for the sake of the
nation as a whole , we must continue our support. We must sacrifice.... .
We will be like koreans one day ... building good cars even ships (just saw
on astro how this korean guy who found hyundai out of nothing).

Maybe these hu-haa about change of CEO in Proton will shine some light into
the industry

and for TM .. for the sake of the country and fellowman .. u should
sacrifice and step down ..as you have failed .... miserably.

it's all in the numbers

typical break-even before profit: 800k units peranum
proton's current sales figure: 200k units per anum..

Need have worldwide distribution channel like toyota or honda to achive
massive production. Then only proton don't need government protection in
the local market and can offer cheap and better quality car for us.

until they reach economic of scale... sampai bila-bila lah proton macam
ni. So ramai-ramai la beli proton (bagi mak satu, ayah satu, akak satu,
nenek satu, girlfren satu, bini satu, dan sebagainya lah...)

"sorry aaa, my economic is kinda rusty, belajar masa kat sekolah dulu"

rgds,

everybody...

proton must wake up to the fact that they are losing sales by the year...
honda and toyota are coming out with new models... if proton do not
enhance their cars or lower the prices...i cannot imagine what will
happen..

the biggest shock is that they are actually incerasing their prices...
kononnya...add new spoiler to gen2 and inrease price by 1k...what a
crap.. and the perdana v6...increase 7k...why? any enhancement? can
anyone tell me...

my goodness
