How to solve PROTON dilemma?...

1. Cut the excuses

2. Sell the car cheap..when car has quality problems...open another
company..buy back the car for besi buruk and give discount vouchers to buy
new proton at very attractive prices!!!!

live with reality. with the prices of raw resources going up, cars will
gonna get more expensive.

Plus, if you realised that most car manufacturers are affiliated one way or
the other, forget about real price slashing. Toyota actually raised their
car prices by USD2k so that GM cars will look cheaper, and still Toyota
cars outsold lemon GM ones!!!

*in US, lemon is the term used to describe unreliable cars

Assuming the writer is authentic, it`s not wrong for the writer to feel
some pride in his work and the achievements of his employer. However, the
BOTTOM LINE IS THE EFFORTS TODATE ARE STILL NOT ENOUGH. PROTON IS STILL
UNCOMPETITIVE. Never mind that every other auto company in the world has
had more time than them to develop. THE COMPETITION DOES NOT STAND STILL.

From what he writes, I get the impression that there is still some degree
of DENIAL within the company about 1)Consumer sentiments 2) The cut-throat
global autoindustry (overcapacity, rising costs, higher customer
requirements, environment, etc).

Blaming consumers for their lack of patriotism also doesn`t help. The
reason is because consumers can see THROUGH P1. If P1 was GENUINELY TRYING
TO PRODUCE THE BEST POSSIBLE PRODUCT FOR CONSUMERS, they will get much more
support even if there are problems every now and then. BUT they have only
themselves to blame for saying "IT`S LIKE THAT ONE" when the same problems
recur over and over again. Who would not be angered when 1) there is no
improvement after so long and 2)the company doesn`t give a sh*t?

Does P1 dare to face the FACTS? if they do, do they have a GENUINE
STRATEGY? When I say genuine, they must operate AS THOUGH they will LOSE
GOVT PROTECTION TOMORROW. Do they?

the way I read it, the writer blames their forced dependency on INCOMPETENT
LOCAL VENDORS for their predicament and lack of progress. So he is really
saying that P1 is stuck between a ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. They don`t seem to
have a way out. Therefore, the govt has to keep the market protected UNTIL
THESE VENDORS BUCK UP. Will they?

However, one may get a DIFFERENT STORY if a vendor is posed with this
`ACCUSATION`. OH WELL, I guess the mud-slinging and finger pointing will
never end. The AP issue was just a sideshow to pull wool over our eyes. And
we poor consumers will continue to ENJOY THE WONDERFUL PRODUCTS OF PROTON
FOR AS LONG AS IT TAKES.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
