but u gotta get a reliable foreman to maintain these cars, my father
datsun recently sent to service the brake master cylinder, after that the
brake pedal very stiff, he send back to the foreman and he said that the
brake booster kong already and it's normal for car of such age and
quickly rekomen him to instal a brake booster from iswara, he then send
to another foreman and he said there is brake fluid leaked into the
booster causing the damage, now my dad suspect the first foreman
purposely cause the damage so to generate more biz, but hard to prove ler

Any old cars without any electronics are reliable. With electronics and
ECU etc.. cars are less reliable and can breakdown without much warnings.

It has to be the VW beetle. My family bought one in 1971 and sold it in
1992. It was still our daily transport til the day it was sold. It has no
radiator to worry about, no timing belt/chain (it uses gear driven
pushrods). In 20 years of owning the car, my father only replace parts
when they worn out. It does not even need to change air filter, it use oil
bath type. It was slow, noisy, uncomfortable and handles like a greased
pig. But it was tough as nail and RELIABLE.

Cars ARE reliable if you know how to take good care of it. Exp,it needs
other fluids besides petrol. It can get old and worn out too, so it needs
spare parts. And occasionally it needs a bath.

Some TLC is also required. Much like taking care of your own
gf/wife/lover!
