If Savvy failed to live to its expectations, this will be the 3rd
catastrophic failure for tengku mahalel after Juara and Arena.Gen 2 cannot
be considered a total failure since it still sells but nevertheless it
failed by volume sold in comparison with Wira and Iswara.
Mahathir on the other hand is his 1st project with the Savvy.
So can be blame them both for such failures?

Proton will blame everyone else under the sun except itself.
I think that the Wira is still selling well because:
1. It is still Mitsu technology
2. Price
The Waja (Junk 1), Junk 2 and other failures u quoted here are failures
because:
1. Proton did not really conduct proper market studies - thinking the
gahmen can shuff any product down consumers' throats
2. Poor quality in terms of technology, engineering, build, after sales
(since there are so many problems with these junk cars)
3. Consumers are more aware of Proton's poor quality (Proton cars have
high number of defects, according to JD Power surveys)
So Proton is now asked to prove itself - that is why not many people want
to be guinea pigs for the Savvy. I would only be buying a Savvy after
maybe it is two or three years in the market. By then, I would know
whether it is a good car or not.
Also there is no real need to hurry to buy Proton's products because they
are in production for decades. Heck we can still buy Proton's first ever
car produced, some 20 years after it was launched!

Sawi is a failure for sure. I will not think twice....choose Myvi rather
sawi.
Proton need to understand what the market demand. Another I learn, if you
don't want to be a market leader then u must follow closed on the market
leader. This of course, it mean you doesn't wan to think much. tried
brain which is the protong guy. They think that put in the cap.... Lotus
Design, Tunning....bah, bah, bah. the car will sell like goreng pisang.
What potong can try is reduce their car price by 20 - 30%, this will help.
This is base on the Value comparison between their car and other.

Proton, especial TM or TDM, will start pointing fingers to everyone else,
AP kings, Rafidah Aziz, MITI, P2, Pak Lah, etc. but never will they blame
themselves for it. TM will just say,"What can I do?" while TDM,"Too many
APs around"....
Problem with Proton is they got too greedy and produce such crappy and
shoddy cars yet sells them at cut-throat price. Beside Sawi, I dont think
anyone is buying Gen.2 or Waja, since I have not seen for quite some time
newly registered one.

Anything. The Sun, Moon, Earth. The tree, rivers and maybe the house pet,
Perhaps by the remotest of chance Proton will blame themselves, but just
don`t blame the people. They have had enough. Period!
