If Malaysia got better tax and duty on non-national cars. We may even
have Proton and Perodua listed at the bottom. So no suprise lah for
Toyota/Honda/Nissan not being the top in the list. We are slaves to
automobile industry mah.

It will be like:

1. Lexus
2. BMW
3. Audi
4. Merz
5. Acura
.
.
.
.
20. Perodua and Proton

I believe Japanese cars are not the best quality nowadays. But just
because the price is more competitive and that is why it still take
bigger piece of the cake everywhere in the Asia. Well, if a latest BMW
320 cost RM160k, I believe all new Camry order would be cancelled.

Not an impossibility, 320i costing 160k.

It is about that much in South Africa.

In fact some can be cheaper.

The best selling car in Malaysia if all cars were priced like how a normal
developed economy works, the best selling car would most likely be a Toyota
Corolla or a Nissan Sentra.

Till that day comes, everyone can dream Big Smile
