Recently national car maker has been going on a publicity stint meeting
various stakeholder like the MP's,MITI,Khazanah etc.The reason for going
such a publicity stint is actually based on a allegation that out of the
4 companies granted national status,2 were granted extraordinary
status. This referred to Naza Kia and Inokom.Proton reasoned that this 2
companies does not complied to the national status requirement in terms
of equity shares, local content and also transfer of technology.Proton
went on bragging this issue.
I wish to remind those parties approached by Proton especially those
decision makers.MP(members of parliment) are appointed by the people
through the election. Therefore it is essential that they listen to the
people and not Proton. They are not appointed by Proton nor they are
Proton directors.
As a reminder to Miti, think deeply and scrutinised closely those
unfounded allegations.Any wrong move will cause an outflow of foreign
investment resulting in loss of job opportunity for the people. The gov is
also elected by the people so they must listen to the people.

Kita semua berjuang untuk agama, bangsa (bangsa Malaysia lah) dan negara,
bukan untuk Proton.

I like to relate this story now and then to my friends. Hope you like it.

I grew up poor, in a squatter area, without a father (died when I was 6)
and my mother has to work to bring up my younger brother and me. Poor as
we were, she can still afford me a good English education. Yes, you can
tell by the way I write.

We the young and naughty kids in the neighbourhood have fights. When this
happens the other kids have their fathers to defend and protect them. But
not poor me. My mother doesn`t even have the time to take care of me, let
alone defend me. As I`ve mentioned earlier, my father is six feet under.
So, when I got whup, I go and hide somewhere, grimace, bear the pain, cry
and fight another day.

So, the moral of the story is? Why can`t Proton, a 20 year old grown-
up,be like me? Go in there, give them a good fight and if you got whup,
get up and fight again. Don`t go running back to your `father` crying.
And if you do that Proton, and even if I don`t buy another car from you
ever again, I`ll respect you for it.

To conclude, my mother passed away in 2000, I`m now middle age with a
family of my own, not rich, but can afford some small luxuries. Certainly
much better than some of the old neighbourhood kids with protective
fathers. Up them I`ll say.

My parents would be proud of me.

Orang Roti,
Wah... welcum to my hard-cored poor club. But, I had a far worst childhood
than you, lar. My dad passed away when ayam 4 yrs old, leaving 10 children
behind and bankrupt. My late mother had to wash clothes to earn a living to
send us to school - she had about 4 hours of sleep everyday for the next 12
years. Of course, we reared chickens and ducks for their eggs to sell and
put the meat on the table, when CNY cums. I only had FREE education and
it's until Form 5 i.e. M.C.E.
Today, ayam retired as an ordinary employee. Got enough to eat, roof over
my head and some passive incum.

Why can't Proton learn from me? Afterall, I did offer them my FREE 30+
years of manufacturing experience. Time for Proton to walk, minus the
tongkat, eh?

King,

You are one cum of a gun. LOL. We can't help but feel bitter sometimes.
Then again that is all in the past.

Let us just remember the good things only. Afterall life is all about
memories cum what may. I mean, if you do travel the world and when you
come back home, what do you have? Right, just memories.

OK, the fact that Proton didn't use your services (expertise) does not
mean you are no good, you just have poor marketing skill lah. Go to MIM
lah, assuming you have not done so.

If you don't mind me saying so, your English needs a bit of improving.
Just a little bit. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Stick around my friend.

I think he is just purposely using Manglish lah.

If I get my sums right, King will have been educated in the English medium,
before the G messed up education. I can tell you that that generation's
English at Form 5 is far better than many of our graduates nowadays......Smile
