Hi 2 all 156 selespeed Owner,

I am quite interested in 156 selespeed.
Please give me more information:
1)Does the "Acktuator" always give problem? How much to change all?
2)FC how?
3)After Milan Auto Close Down, how is the future maintenace and parts?
4)After Milan Auto Close Down, will the out side Mechanic LCLY?
5) Last time a own 406. When I send to any Mechanic, they will charge
quite high and when I nego. with them. They will just said THIS CAR IS
LIKE THAT LOR. How about 156 maintenance like?
6)Somebody said " Changing the Oil Filter also need to take out Steering
Rod"? And it will cause 1/2 day to change oil filter?
7)Performance? Handling?

Regards

1)Does the "Acktuator" always give problem? How much to change all?
---> It's actually called "Actuator". Coz you around RM 3500. Make sure
you change in HHK, coz other place might just modified for you, not
change for you!

2)FC how?
---> What FC? Fottball Club? Muahahaha....

3)After Milan Auto Close Down, how is the future maintenace and parts?
---> Even the MA is still around, forget about the maintenance and parts
from them, pay your own part and find a good workshop.

4)After Milan Auto Close Down, will the out side Mechanic LCLY?
---> Yes! Mechanic will LCLY, if you LCLY to them lar....but watchout,
HHK people are always LCLY if you cant wait for them or you dont know
them or you dont make appointment for servicing.

5) Last time a own 406. When I send to any Mechanic, they will charge
quite high and when I nego. with them. They will just said THIS CAR IS
LIKE THAT LOR. How about 156 maintenance like?
---> Dont expect 156 Selespeed maintence will be cheap, coz italian cars
are VERY expensive to maintain. But the joy of driving it is PRICELESS!!!

6)Somebody said " Changing the Oil Filter also need to take out Steering
Rod"? And it will cause 1/2 day to change oil filter?
---> ######ing BULLSHIT!!!!

7)Performance? Handling?
---> AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! (Try it your own, then you know!)

Cheers!

Now having 147 1.6 and Spider 2.0. Main issue is the selespeed. Better get
an old fashioned manual tranny or a proper autogearbox like in the 156 2.5
Q-system. This has been discussed before, do a search in the forum. Dun
want to repeat things that already has been said here.

Hello, I bought mine 2nd hand almost 3 years ago and still driving the
selespeed. I did consult Taj but AFTER I bought the car! Geeee, really
takut about the selespeed. You know unreliable car as they say but after
years of of ownership I must say I did not (touch wood !) encounter major
trouble what so ever with the selespeed or the bella I must say. Problems
adalah such as Injection Light blinking (Tan HHK solved it and No, it was
not expensive at all). But I think since the actuator is a wear and tear
thing, I believe the time will come for it to be replaced. Now already 70K
Kms, still love the car but rasa macam dah boring lah pulak. Any comments
on Mazda 6 guys he he he
