I’m interesting to buy the secondhand Suzuki Vitara 1.6 (two doors).
Need your opinion and feedback from all the experts. Thanks.

Sold at 40,000km after 2 years. I like the looks of this 'Street'
version. Hardly used.
Short wheel base and ladder frame chasis makes ride very choppy and hard.
Underpowered 1.6 auto engine, original fat tyres (205)/rims (7") combo
and 4WD gear ratios makes it very 'thirsty'. I couldn't get rid of it
fast enough.
Still want to buy one?

cute. Forget the 4-door version, Yes, consumption a bit high especially
city use. Long distance OK, one full tank can take you from PJ to Penang
or Singapore at legal speed. Huge front windows. Winding both of them
fully down is like driving in an open top car. Price has dropped. Scout
around and you may end up with a good deal. I find Suzuki engine very
smooth. Tough and reliable. I think can easily last at least 20 years if
well taken care of.

No, I`ve never shifted into 4WD at all. This begs the question of why the
hell did I buy a 4WD at all? But I must say it is a tough little car.
I made a mistake regarding the tyre size in my above post. It should be
225 (wow!) and not 205. If the ride is a little more comfortable maybe I
would have kept it a a bit longer.

Intended to buy one for my dad for going to his orchid. Very near to
house around 5 km only hence petrol not much of an issue. He doesn't
travel much hence thinking of buying one for him
My concern is maintenance and spareparts... any comment from the current
user of this two door 4wd. Prefer auto 4 him.
