wba1889,

Do you mean there's a Premier upgrade package on the Swift Sport ?

Is there any engine performance upgrade kit ? A 140BHP power output would
be just nice for the Swift Sport.

I'm actually itching to buy the Sport, but takut my wife will kill me

No engine upgrade. Just addition recaro seats per the price list. But the
salesman did mention of 10 airbags for the upcoming batch.

90K is a lot of money. I am hoping Suzuki assemble it locally and thus
bring the price down to say 75 - 80K. That would be really great.

if you had read few months back Sunday Time CBT..comparison on
the 2 most popular and best selling car models in japan domastic
market...Suzuki Swift Sport manual vs Nissan Fairlady manual, both
was tested on open high way and twisted B trunk road...off cause the
Fairlady won on the straighline acceralation and as well the top
speed on the high way ....BUT Swift Sport beated Fairlady on the trunk
road ! as Swift Sport have better power to weight ration on the touque
as well as the handling on the twisted road....so remember a good
car are not just purely judge on the bhp or price tag...but a car with
good power to weigh ration and handling like.. lotus elise ,golf mrk2,
renault clio v6, megane renaultsport , mini cooper s JCW, 207Rs,
swift sport and many more....are the real CAR that many are looking
for.....

Hi Alex

Suzuki Malaysia's website sucks bigtime. To get to the page on the swift
sport goto

http://www.suzuki.ne...port/index.html

The specs mentioned in the website are not correct to. The Swift has 8
airbags (STD) and 6 airbags (Premier). You lose 2 seat airbags with the
Recaros in the premier.

Also, I called a dealer in Cheras, the price for the Manual is RM97K OTR
with insurance for the Manual. Didn't ask him about the auto, but I reckon
it should be about RM101K or so.

helo folks. I've been drivin the SS 1.6M for 6 months now. Love it to
bits! It just grips on corners like there is no tomorrow. Even when it
loses grip, its progressive. Agile's the word for this car.

Hope can help a bit. Mine's the standard trim. 6 airbags only. One at
the seat, one at the top window, one at the front on each side
respectively. The existing seats are quite comfy already. Recaros run
the risks of window smashers.

Btw, lookin for like-minded folks into this car. There does not seem to
be a very active club for this car.
