to wait for sport version a....haiya..do know how much will it cost?
i`m buying this swift as my second car don`t care much about the
perormance as long it`s imported car and cheap and not carrying any
pro.... name you all know la...
i already got one car with i-vtec so i will enjoy `performance` with that
one anyway i just read one review in uk mag forgot what is it maybe `top
gear` kot.
swift fall under compact car same category with jazz, yaris and so on
lah...and under perfomance they give 4 star out of 5 star, not bad.
since i`m still waiting for my unit to really enjoy driving it i will
reserved my comment at the moment.

yeah, Swift is highly rated in europe, among the top 5 "supermini"(that's
the category there). And I agree to that, since I owned one(not biased
here). It's truly is a fun car to drive, esp. when taking corners, FC very
good too. Although in terms of value, it's expensive but comparing to other
alternatives with similar price, Swift wins no doubt about it, unless when
it comes to boot space, Honda City wins of course!

bro,

I wouldn't hentam so much lubang with a brand new car. Swift does have few
rattling problems, for mine it was the passenger air-con louvre at door and
somewhere within driver's door. Not really bothered with it since I listen
to music very LOUDLY, hehehe... but still will get it rectified for 10k km
service. Other than that my Swift is perfect.

hahaha... Myvi handed over to kid bro already, and was recently traded for
a Jazz. Anyway, between Myvi and Swift here are the major difference:-

1. Space- Myvi interior space wins hands down. Swift is OK, but rear seat
esp. legroom can be quite cramped esp. for people above 5' 6". Boot space
Myvi is slightly bigger, but not by much compared with Swift.

2. FC- RM60 can get me thru average of 450 km. How's that? According to
the FC computer on my swift, I'm averaging 13.3 km/l. Myvi in comparison
feels thristier, not to mention the outright lack of power.

3. Engine- Swift wins here. 1.5 and more refined, esp at high rev. In 3rd
gear, 160kmh it still smooth. Pickup is better than Myvi, but so-so in
comparison to other 1.5 litre car.

4. Maintenance cost- FREE! 2 years or 50,000 km FREE service, including
labour, parts and lubricant. How's that? Just fill up tank and GO!

Anyway, bottom line here, Swift is more fun to drive and own. Of course
some people might argue of the price difference, but hey Sirion and Swift
are similarly priced in other countries. And they couldn't more far apart.
