My fuel gauge has gone wild for 1 month already. did anyone face this
problem and has sent his car to the SC?

i had that problem once...then went back to normal on its own...
does ur gauge suddenly drop to E...then go back up slowly?

LOL, I was the one who first posted the problem in Fuel Indicator
Problem. My reading has back to normal.
I suspect that there are some "dirty" sustance in the fuel tank. I pumped
in V-POWER when my indicator light on. I did a new pump again when the
light is On again.
(light On -> constantly ON, not flashing)
When my car was filled with V-power, I dont feel any power also, however
it did cleanse your fuel tank partially. RM71 equalevant to 45 littles,
only last for 420KM. My next pump was RM71 too (none v-power) equalevant
to 50 littles. Engine sound was abit loud during acceleration when V-
Power is reaching empty, so I'm suspecting that V-power help in burning
everything in the fuel tank including the 5 littles of 'dirty sustance'.
Just my assumption :P
Tried caltex, esso/mobil and shell, they are the same in term of power or
fuel saving(but shell does gives few more km extra). However caltex and
esso/mobil is more smoother and quieter then shell.

all the 'WET' products u very good ar...hahahahahahahaha
i use Projet, Kerang and Petronas....all also ok ler...

Haha.. aye I only know 'WET' products right before they were frosen and
turn into ICE!!! LOL
I'm not chemical scientist, but what was written by the poster(forgot the
name and lazy to do a search) in the Fuel Indicator is right, if there
are something dirty inside the fuel tank, it will effect the reading of
our indicator.
