A driver of a Smart Fortwo suffered a terrifying incident in which he was
shunted two miles down a busy German autobahn - because the driver of a
large truck did not realise that he had rear-ended the tiny city car, and
that the two-seater had become attached to his front radiator grille. The
trucker was finally stopped by police; he told the German press that "I
couldn't believe it when I got out of the truck and saw there was a car
stuck on the front of it." He said that he had felt a slight bump, but
thought that he had just driven over a stone in the road. The driver of
the Smart was shocked, but unhurt; he said that "I was driving at just
under 60mph when the truck came onto the motorway and hit me. I tried to
drive away but couldn't. I looked up through my sunroof and could see the
driver, but he didn't notice me."

Imagine if this happened to our much beloved Proton cars...probably split
into at least 2 pieces and its driver will not have the opportunity to
relate the story to his/her grandchildren.
