Has anybody test driven the newly launched smart for four yet? I read
pretty good reviews of it. Will be doing a test drive next week. I am
considering getting one.

Read elsewhere that it's the sister car to Mitsubishi Colt (Same Engine)
and it's built in Holland which explains the "Okay" Pricing (The Smart
forfour 1.5 is Slightly cheaper than Colt 1.5).

Did the test drive this morning at Si Khiong Star. Great road handling
and has a real zippy feeling. A little pocket rocket. Very responsive
although I took the 1.3 out instead of the 1.5 . The steering is precise.
A tad bumpy and noisy...expected as the cushioning is not there of a nice
comfy saloon. Roomy interior and nicely placed instrumentation. The ride
is not jerky at all as some claim of the for2. The brakes are fantastic!
Works like magic and if you know how to adjust to the braking...no need
to be jerky.
The color combination is really innovative as well...typical of Swatch!
Price of RM102++K is not the whole package...if you want a metallic color
car, another RM1.3K, clock & temperature gauge another RM350. The F1 like
paddles for gear change is available, yes1 you guessed it...another
RM600 ....list goes on...
Nice to have for a play play car...Fun...fun...fun....

I test drove the 1.5 model this afternoon at C&C off federal highway. The
highway was badly jammed up so I didn't have a chance to go fast with the
car.
I think it looks better than it drives. The gearshift is "weird" when
left in auto mode and the engine is kinda noisy and the brakes really
BITE!

damn it's fast.....i test drove the 1.5l. the brakes are damn good for a
car that size....
i went up to 180km/h still in 4th. the road wasn't long enough.
if i have a spare cash.....should be a fun car to own...!
