i was wondering if the wira crystal headlight ( glass) does give a good
focus beam at night? just like the borsch oem headlight.. or it is just a
fancy accessory that does not give benefit at all... other than esthetic
lookk... how much does it cost for a pair togtehr wityh the side signal...

NSX666,
I was wondering about the same thing quite some time back. I even went and
see at the acc shop the design of the lamp. It looks too simple when you
compare it to the original crystal headlight design say from the civic or
the perdana. I figured that probably the light will be spread too much and
would not have enough focus. I asked the acc guys and most say not much
diff. but it' not convincing though. Furthermore, check out the material
used on the inside of the lamp, looks a bit cheapo. Hmm, probably will
deform if using brighter bulbs...

My 2 cents

Guys, dun change ur OEM 2 crystal coz it's not worth it.
I changed mine n got a free pair of side lamp, but the fact is d reflector
inside burnt 4 only 1 day. Mayb bcoz i used the 90/100W H4, but d H4 din
do any damage 2 my OEM. N the surface of the crsytal is easily scratch
even with fingernail (plastic of coz).Frown

My fren's exp, he bought d crystal (glass) 4 only 1 day, n it was filled
with water d next morning. He said he can even keep fish inside them.Big Smile

D crystal is just 4 look, not 4 performance. So dun expect them 2 do good
in light spreading/focusing etc. Bosch spent millions 4 d OEM, how much do
u think d manufacturer spent 4 d crystal?

So my advise, dun buy them, unless something happen 2 ur OEM n u wan 2
replace them.

yes, don't get those crystal lights. It's useless. It's more for looks
rather than function. I have actuarry tot of getting it until i saw a few
Satrias/ Wiras/ Putras using it. The beam couldn't be focused, spread too
much and caused glaring to the oncoming cars. Thus, no matter what super
bright bulb you use, it's will not be bright caused the lights are
spreading all over the place.

Ponder this, Bosch have spent a large sum of $$$$ on R&Ds to produce a
good headlamp....while these backyard factory products doesn't even do R&D
on their products. So which one should be better?

By the way, next time if you want to ask those accesories shop people
whether a product is good or not....forget it, not matter what, they will
tell you that it is good. They know nuts about the stuffs they are
selling!!! I have tested a few guys from Brothers on the Raybrig
bulbs...as you know, they are selling the imitation Raybrig bulbs. I
asked them is this original and they said "Original!! Made in Japan!!".

You think i'm stupid meh!?

on top of that, the chrome part will be faded as well. Guessed we have
discussed this thread in AW quite sometime back again Smile
