chunhoo,
NOS hv 2 type as what I know small botol = 25-50BHP
big botol = 75-100Bhp [ can use up to 3min per botol ]
You'll need NOS controller to control the NOS flow...[ max 10 sec but
assume your car haven't enhance b4 then better set it to 3-5 sec ]
Totol cost is abt RM 3.8K

chunhoo,
You really have to decide what kind of performance you are looking for...
you only state that you wanna blow away a wira or satria 1.5. Do you just
want to do that in a straight line acceleration or you need to be ahead in
every bend and corner too?
You want to keep the stock engine in your car, but there is only so much
power you can reliably extract from a 4G13 without compromising good
drivability. Even if you get 130hp with a hot cam and exhaust mods, the
power is way up in the rev range at 5000 rpm and beyond. And with the
already measly torque generated by 1300cc, your car will definitely feel
very under-engined when your revs are between 1-4K rpm... not good if you
drive mainly in city traffic. And, don't expect magic horsepower with just
extractors, plug cables, bullets, exhaust mufflers... you need to work on
the engine internals to gain real power. Even a ported and polished head
will at most gain you 5-10% in power, that's about 8 hp at most for a 4G13.
Then it comes to an issue with NOS... first of all, its pretty illegal.
Second, you can't pump up NOS at your regular Petronas or Projet station.
Third, NOS is pretty expensive, both the system and the refill. Do you
want to keep spraying NOS to keep up with more powerful cars on the road?
I doubt your car will be very controllable in that case...
You can achieve your dreams easily by swapping engines. There is not much
substitute for adding engine capacity, except maybe bolt on a turbo. Learn
to launch your car properly from start, get the right rpm and clutch
control, you can get better acceleration with practice. Upgrade your
suspension, tyres and brakes, so you can corner better and be ahead of a
lesser handling car, and also stop better if needed.

good one chrome. its difficult to get good gains from such a small engine
that is not designed for power.

chunhoo,
sorry for the confusion..
yep..
FYI stands for For Your Information
and bore means the diameter of the cylinder...
g88 dude,
u've some stuffs mixed-up here...
4G13 and 4G15 uses slightly different bore sizes...but the exactly same
engine block and head...that's y lotsa ppl rebore the 1.3 to 1.5
but that's illegal...

put in a performance cam shaft. it's value for money and u can get the
most out of your engine. remember to do port and polish too.
