I survived the fall

I was very lucky to be still able to type and post this message. I was
travelling home yesterday night from work. I hit about 90 km/h (and still
accelerating) before I ran over something and the front just lost contact
with the road. It was quite a hard impact, and my hands are off the handle
bars during the impact. I was so grateful that I didn`t fall, but my front
tyres deflates and the rim was cracked and crooked. I stopped and walk
back towards the area I had the impact, and the road was clean except for
a brick which was lying there. Well, I suppose I hit a brick.
I am looking for a rim to replace the damaged rim. Stock rim is
appreciated. I ride a NSR 150RR (dual round headlight). How much would it
cost? If anyone comes across a NSR rim for sale, pls let me know.
Again, I am really really grateful that I didn`t fall. Thank god. And to
all of you bikers out there, ride safely.
Cheers!

morning when i was approx. 80-90 km/h. never seen dog this crazy
before..donno where the stupid dog came from, just running kamikaze style
towards me, unfortunately i fell down and fractured my finger.
luckily no problem with the front tyre and rim..but a few weeks after
that..oil starts leaking from my front left fork. i suggest you check
your fork as well. i replaced the oil and the seal inside twice
already. ..looks like i'll have to replace the fork itself..because
probably fork sudah bengkok.
all riders..careful on the road, ride safely, i've seen not only potholes
and bricks..but also buah kelapa, door, pillow and helmets.

Yea I suppose the impact would more or less damage the fork. Will check it
out later today. Thanks.
p/s: What happened to the dog?

Beware of oil patches also. My friend's dad fell down and broke his arm
plus other minor bruises last month.

gets up and continue to run as if nothing happened..ceh..but i think it
must be dead or severely injured a few days after..coz i hit him pretty
hard.
VT-ten, are u in kl, RR is a rare species even in kl..discontinued, but
most spareparts same with the previous NSR. i got my bike for 7700 during
clearance promotion that time ;-)(end 98)

bad dog you got there!
Yea, I'm in KL. I agree NSR is not as popular as the TZMs. You got your
bike really cheap. My friend bought it brand new in Apr 1997 for almost 10
grand for the bike plus 10% interest p.a. x 2 years = 12k.
he sold it off in July 2000 for only 3k.
I got mine second hand in July 1999 (registered Oct 96) for 4.7k
