Hi. I am actually new in this. Just a report here. Of late I had bought
one as I was impressed by its capability. The front has independant
suspension but very primitive. The rear has some form of suspension which
is just a piece of plastic joining the front to the motor, can move up
and down, twist but not move sideways (copy the Kyosho mini-Z style). It
comes with functional differential. What's lacking is the control as I
find it primitive as well coz can only go forward, reverse, turn full
lock to the left and right. Simple. Fun to drive, and it could cover a
large area. 2 AA batery for the car and 2 AA batery for the remote.

Had always wanted to get a mini-Z but the price had put me off since I
know nothing of RC. As I'm more of an indoor person, larger versions of
RC is out of my reach coz they can't race indoor. What Kyosho did
actually caters my need. So I guess, this is the next best thing as
compared to mini-Z.

Wanted to do some stunts with the car as in my house, it's terazo
flooring and it's quite slipery, like car driving on cement. Wanted to
know from any sifus around, how by changing the spring rate could I alter
the understeer and oversteer kinda thing, without adjusting of suspension
geometry (I can't adjust on this thing). Oh BTW, as a car driver and a
fan of motorsports myself, no big money to spend on the real thing, next
best thing is RC. What say you?

Regards.

hi there,

i thought of buying race tin as well. just bought kyosho gas powered rc
car with futaba controller but really got no time to play with it. i
cannot be played indoor and require special place to play it. well i can
still play it just about anywhere, but still have constraints.

anybody interested in kyosho fw-04 (Mc Laren Body) come complete with
futaba 3dpf 75mhz transmitter please let me know. the futaba transmitter
alone can cost you around rm700++ (tamiya klcc selling at RM799) let
alone the car. complete with accessories.

Go to this URL. Lots of sifu there. Some even mod their car to put extra
battery.
