spawny, if you break parts, you need to get spares for it. I think the
reason why spares get out of stock fast is because these people are kiasu.
Well, if you race, you have to stock up parts.
Also, Hudy tools are not necessary. Just that for a little price over the
normal ones, you get very high quality tools. If you're using something
else, then stick with it.

initiald..
thanks 4 ur reply. as for race, i've not been there but it's something
like what thomas has few maonths back.
705 pricing is very very very attractive now. i would really say it's
value for money consideraing a lot of carbon parts included. for others by
the time u add in all the carbon parts, cost exceed the 705. must look @
the chassis esp the front with the weak point. if it's the newer
generation, it's better. may consider mtx-3 but i hear u need some hop ups.
moat..
actually i wanted to get some crystals and was told someone took the
40.8xxx. i tot i was u....

I know hudy tools are not necessary but just to add to the cool factor
mah!. Serpent and hudy goes hand in hand. As for the parts, then the 705
guys are really kiasu. Might as well just buy another car as spare.

actually, the hudy is not just nice, it actually works, i rounded 2 set of
supplied allen wrench trying to open bolts yesterday, while the hudy works
flawlessly (fwiw, good tools such as facom/snap on cost abt the same/more)
pokemon, get the serpent..... u r driving ntc3 right? what wrong with it?

pokemon, thanks for the info. I will check the shop out.
If you calculate the cost of each parts in the 705, it cost more than the
kit itself. So it's actually pretty worth it in the long run. The bearings
alone can cost a bundle. The rear ball diff and the Centax II clutch can
already cost half the price of the new 705. If you do not need them, you
can also sell it off separately and make more money. If you do not want
the shocks, you can also sell them off. Else as a tuning option, you have
a spare shock set that you can use different oil weight and spring that
you can quickly snap on when you need to.
There are a lot of things in the box which is very difficult to get as
spare parts.

Pokemon: I wish I had the money to buy spare car too but very painfulfor
my wallet everytime I consider buying spare car, so only buy spare parts
when required. Anyway Thomas and Wong have plently of NTC3 spares so no
worries.
