helo fellow truckers...
need some info. should d shocks for MT be hard or soft ? reason is, after
changing the shock oil from soft to softest, i broke me dogbone twice when
jumping! i think the softest shock oil maybe the culprit coz b4 changing i
never have problems with broken dogbone when i jump. btw me using dom
basic.

Pokemon, I donno what NMT you have but it sounds like the drive cups have
bent your bones upon landing. Try limiting the travel by using fuel tubing
along the shaft and use o-rings in your cups. also depending on the scale
of your car, normally ppl will use 25-35wt. I use 40wt in my rally car. A
bit bumpy but can take tarmac and offroad, no jumping of ramps.

Pokemon, my offroaded arms travel do allow the chasis to hit the floor so
lotsa scratches at the bottom. I do not have the same issue like you after
I put o-rings. Before that o-rings, there were signs of possiblity of
bending of the dog bone. try the fuel tubing thing.. some 1/8 buggies have
that too.

the suspension for MT should be just nice.. not too hard thus making your
truck go boink (maybe tip over) or too soft making your shock bottom out
(will probably ruin it in the long run..posibbly leak etc.).. this is
especially when doing jumps.. i dont run NMT but for suspension it works
using the same principle.. try changing the shock oil (harder if your
shocks bottom out easily or softer if your truck boinks) try changing the
angle of the shocks too..

Haha.. looks like not much people are into offroad Big Smile

Anyway, like I said earlier this week.. a web site about the project truck
I'm doing.. it's up and running now.. You can check it out using the URL
below..

It's far from finish.. still a lot of pics to be taken.. the truck itself
is not ready.. I'll try to update it as often as I can..

Hope to hear your feedback on it.. Smile
