uthaya,
i'm good for this coming sunday.. provided its doesn't rain of courseBig Smile
after lunch is good.. bringing ur dagger and isuzu xc is it? hehe..Evil

About the pinion, i think u should get the 32 pitch pinion, the 48 pitch
pinion is smaller, u will ruin the spur gear in the long run.. try to get
a pinion other than the tamiya like from losi or robinson racing, as the
one from tamiya is made of a softer type of metal.. try ask madam if she
has any 18 tooth 32 pitch pinion.. i can borrow u mine but the largest i
got is 16 tooth.. but using that u can see that it mesh better than the 48
pitch.

i'll be bringing my truck, currently wanna make it 4ws, already made the
extra servo mount for the rear.. now trying to figure out how to program
the radio for the 3rd channel.. and hopefully make the truck 'crab' i.e go
sideway too.. Wink

ianual,
i don't think so it's us.. this will be the first time we play r/c together
Big Smile.. u can come n join us.. see the r/c in action.. dont have to bring
any r/c.. u can try my truck if u want.. hehe Approve

it's 32 pitch NOT 38 pitch..heheBig Smile i dont know whether madam has them
but u can try n give her a call..

Hmm.. which part of wangsa maju do u know? If u r coming from jalan
jelatek.. go straight towards wangsa maju.. the putra lrt track should be
on ur right.. go straight until u reach the traffic light.. malaysia
institute of intergrative media (MIIM) formerly known as Akademi TV3
should be on ur right.. at the traffic light turn right n go straight.. u
will pass Carrefour and Projet on ur left.. right after Projet at the
traffic light turn left, go straight until u reach a T-junction, turn
right until u come to a crossroad, u can see a Telekom building on the
left, at the crossroad turn left(this road has not been open yet to the
public.. but just turn left..) go straight for about 100 meters.. the
rockcrawling place is on ur left.

give me a call at 019-2368159 if u got lostWink

uthaya,
Nice vid.. maybe next time we can get some a good vid on a more successful
crawling attempt.. hehehe.. the clod keep finding itself on its lidBig Smile..
Is there a way you can maybe trim down the size of the vid.. especialy the
clod vid.. 10 meg is quite big.. kesian those on dial up..Wink

Got any damage report? I strip my rear servo saver.. other than that
everything seems to be ok.. i too may have to loctite a few things as i
notice they came loose later on.

Looks like i have to do something about the tires.. but before i cut the
lugs of the stock tires i want to try the proline giant trac first.

When did u leave the place? i came back sometimes around 6 to finish the
batt.

Hi Bargump & Uthaya,

sorry about last Sunday,
as that morning i went off to damansara and only
managed to arrive at the place at almost 3pm.

woweeee you guys have a great 4WD systems there ...
hemmm .... now tring to pursue my "Finance Minister"
to approved the budget for me to get 1 of those hehe :)) :))

where did you guys get this mechines from ??? local Hobby Shops or from
mail orders from Overseas ????.

most i found here esp at Kyosho stores@KLSentral is Nitro Powered and cost
about RM 3K plus from FUll complete set. which i think my finance minister
will not going to approved this.
so i'm looking somehwere half or RM1.5K or lower for start-up.

i also found out that 2WD systems is cheeper . do you guys think it is
suittable for beginers like me ???

thanks guys.

hope i can make it to your arena again.

bye

Ianaul ,

First off all , for the type of driving you see in those videos , electric
powered RCs are the better option .. you will have more throttle control ..
Approve

You can go off-road with 2wd , but with 4WD you can go further .. and with
a truck like Bargump's you can go all the way to the top ...Big Smile..

But remember , a 2WD buggy or stadium truck is very impressive on a
prepared off-rad track ..

It all boils down to what you wanna do with your ride ?..

1.5K ,.. ummmmHH... I can provide suggestions , but again what you wanna
do with your ride Question

ianual,
i got my tamiya bullhead from daisheng i.e tamiya local distributor.. also
got my tamiya spare parts from them.. but there are some things that i
order from overseas.. things that i cant get locally.. like some
aftermarket option parts, motors etc.
