1:8 On-road or off-road...?
I owned Kyosho Inferno 7.5 buggy & 1:10 touring car. Like to run the
buggy 'anywhere'...sands,grases,tarmac...ect...the bumpier the better...!
My Trinity......mmmm only on-road.....!!!

high fuel consumption ... high tyre wear.
to maintain consistent overdrive, you'll need to invest in tyre truer ..
otherwise once your foam tyres become cone shapes, the car will be
oversteering like mad.
someone once said .. 1/8 on-road cars drink fuel like water, eat tyres
like rice ..
