Raul, Leo, MK, absolut and me will be organizing another UNOFFICIAL WPC
Fun Drive a.k.a Sunday Breakfirst Drive to Awana Genting Highland for the
2nd time on SUNDAY, 10th August 2003. It`s a drive via the scenic Ulu Yam
road. All of us will be driving up genting, have breakfast & go back home!
You will be home by noon & have ample time to enjoy the rest of your
sunday with your loved ones.

The trip will be a whole new driving experience (test your car`s handling
& your driving skills here!) in a convoy. The roads are beautiful & in
very good condition, which comprises of 40% hilly, 35% curves, 25%
straights. This drive will serve as a future convoy practice as well.. so
bring your own walkie talkies if you have any!

Itinerary

7.30 am
Gather at Caltex Petrol Station, Bandar Sri Damansara. Along the LDP
Highway (after Penchala toll heading towards Kepong/Sg. Buloh)
Briefing and vehicle inspection. (See WARNING)

8:00 am
Convoy starts

9:15am
Reach old cable car station, Awana Genting. Breakfast. Chit chat session.

11.15am
Leave Awana Genting and convoy will head back to KL via Karak Highway.
Toll Charges will be RM4.00 per car. *for those who wants to proceed to
genting highlands may do so. you can either drive up or take the cable
car. Cable car costs RM7.00 per pax return trip*

11.45am
Reach Toll Plaza (Gombak). Break-off point.

4) The trip is at YOUR OWN expenses.

WARNING :
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROUTE & SAFETY PURPOSES, CARS AND TYRES MUST BE
IN SAFE AND PROPER WORKING CONDITION. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ADEQUATE AMOUNT
OF FUEL & CHECK YOUR TYRE PRESSURE BEFORE LEAVING. CARS THAT DO NOT
SATISFY THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT WILL BE DENIED PARTICIPATION.

yahoo...oh and remember to bring cameras...the view at the dam is
fantastic and watch out for the convoy of superbikers as well...actually
perhaps we might want earlier in case the mamak up there gets quite
packed!...
