My waja temp naik last monday night(I think close to 120 c) luckily near
my house. stop for a while and let engine cool down before returning
home. yesterday I went to workshop but according to the mechanic all was
ok. i just change the coolant. was it something else was wrong?maybe

First, check coolant level at radiator while engine cold & coolant
reserve tank level.
Kept the radiator cap open, start the engine, check coolant level & make
sure those coolant is running. Normally the level will go down a little
bit coz of empty air in the cooling system, fill till top & close the
radiator cap.
Check your temp on dashboard. If problem still occour, maybe the water
temp sensor spoil.
My tips;
1. Use better grade engine oil. When I use normal oil, temp above 90C
idle. Now I use synthetic oil, below 90C idle.
2. Use radiator flush before you change your coolant.
3. Buy ready mix coolant(a bottle come in 4-5 litter), no need to add
pipe water.

monitor and mark the water level at your expansion tank.. if within 2
days the water goes under the marked level.. you may got a leak in your
engine cooling system.. it could be your water hose, radiator cap, water
pump or radiator...
if everything ok.. check or improve your grounding system..

shira,
just check your radiator and it hoses/pipes/cap...there could be a leak or
something. Most of the problems comes from there...try from there...good luck!

Hey i had the same problem. I think my car's cooling system is ok, i check
everything from changing coolant to check hoses. The temperature gauge will
rise to almost 120 if the car is stuck in a jam then the fan will kick in
and the temperature will go back normal. It happen usually when i am
driving without air cond. With air cond on, the situation rarely happen
except stuck in a really really long jam.
Some say is the fan relay problem and some say is the sensor (is there
really a sensor?)
Until now i stil have this problem.

if u hv said the fan only turn on upon 120 degree celcius
then maybe either the relay or sensor went down
get a termometer to filter out the suspect :)

Try to install a good/proper grounding kit. It solved this problem for my
Waja.

vyruzi's problem is just like mine. Checked all the possible leaks, but
to no avail..the mechanic also test drive my car for about half an hour,
but the temp seems normal...also let the car idle for about 30
minutes..no water dripping from under the car...so mysterious..
