Hi everybody, I am Lee and Kenneth told me that you will have gathering at subaidah tanjung tokong. As I am very new in Penang... can any of you tell me where this place is... something like telling me some "Well known" location near this Subaidah ??
I have a colleague that won the 2000 "Time Attach" champion which organised by the Silverstone. He was driving a kancil during the contest.. but he is now been transfer to based in KL for sales and changed to Wira 1.6... if not he will be able to join the club and shares his experiences in hand brakes turn... well.. he did it quite often.. even when he came back from lunch.. he will do one turn in front of the office before parking his car.. of cause.. those time was the time when he prepare himself for the contest.

i remember st150 said that re711 perform miserably in wet condition. so you might that factor into consideration. for me i`ll choose Continental EcoContact tyre (made in Germany, not South Africa one) because of its fuel saving feature.
for rims, please don`t buy JRD. if you wanna go local, get at least BSA.

Daihatsu Charmant? why get that? better to get the Toyota LE you wanted..hehe. If i wanted to have an engine transplant for rear wheel drive i would put a 4AGZE engine.

Ivan Khong,
well if i did have the money to get a FORD LYNX...I would, but only with modifications and the martini paint job. When is the next rally for YSKHONG Motorsports?
I noticed that you were driving a FORD LYNX S rite? did you modify anything? it didn`t look & sound stock standard to me.
As for the NMEC sticker, you don`t have to pay me anything...consider it as a token of our appreciation. I hope to see more of YSKHONG Motorsports in future events!

Anyway, after the rally...
I tried some 180 degree turn using handbrakes....
Location : The sandy area in front of N Park. (Where people fly R/C Planes
I just drive around 20 - 30 km/h , pull up my handbrakes and turn... walah..... 180 degree.. no sweat...
but.. remember to screen up... sand flying all over. :)
and wash your car later... he he..
