I don't mean to be rude but if anyone thinks he/she can design a car better
better than what Proton engineer can, then by all means please, join them
and design a 'perfect' car! Talking is cheap.

my opinion is they could have done better if they had updated the old
Gen2 with the same goodies they put into the persona. Dump the stupid
Gen2 name and re-release it as persona aeroback launched at the same time
as the persona sedan.

not every one likes sedan.. so those who still want to have a hatch they
are forced to buy the old crappy gen2?

Just curious guys, how much will toyota, honda or other cars selling if
proton or protection don't exist? Are manufactures willing to sell them
cheaper/similar of the current proton prices?

I'm not going to bash or what, just need to know.

cheers.

the pricing will be the open market pricing, because country that don't
have vested interest in the industry will not tax individual import, for
car maker will will not price it such that it will be cheaper to buy in
singapore or thailand and drive it into malaysia by individual.
A comparison with thailand pricing would be an estimate
indicator,singapore is distorted by coe.

Yo, dun kill each other here because of Proton lah! People have only
RM50+k to buy Proton, it is up to the people lah. I also wish everyone
has RM100+k to buy Civic or Lancer or Camry, but the real world is not
the case. Since i am not paying for other people's car, i should not bash
other people's Proton and make other people feel bad.

We should be here to share information and provide assistance. If one
learn about some defects or issues, very welcomed to highlight them here,
so that other members know and get the appropriate help. That should be
the spirit of this forum.

Any Persona owner got comments on their Persona? I see already got people
talk about dashboard display (meter) problem, loose bumper, overheating
and etc...anything to share? If really got problem, we should gang up,
make them public and force Proton to fix the problems for free. All the
past Protons (saga, wira, satria, waja, gen2) got all kinds of problems,
dunno how much $$ cost owners already and how many drivers & passengers
injured or die already. We must stand up and be heard, drivers' rights
and interests must be protected.
