Recently, raining a lot in penang...almost everyday...
and recently...when i go out for lunch... about 1pm time....
whenever i use my reverse sensor...the sound will be very soft...like the
reverse speaker rosak already...
but at night or morning that time...the reverse sensor sound will be back
to normal....
anything wrong with my reverse sensor? my 'theory' now is raining a
lot...then the reverse sensor kena water...so like shorted and make the
beeping sound soft...after dry...goes back to normal...
am i correct?

guys...the thing that is making the beeping sound in ur reverse warning
system is the piezo buzzer which is placed somewhere near ur rear
windscreen. should be on the right hand side near the rear speaker usually.
Try to locate this black and flat round thing....should be visible.
Well..ur reverse warning system uses a pair of ultrasonic tranducer and
receiver. one of it will send out ultrasonic sound wavers..and the other
one will detect....similar to pricipal of operation of a sonar used by
ships to scan for objects below the water. The time take for the soundwaves
to be reflected back is used for the distant calculation.
Well..about ur beeping sound become softer during afternoon and louder
during night or morning....if u notice the similarity...it got something to
do with the surrounding noise level and also the surround temperature.
Sound waves travel faster at lower air temperature as the the air density
is higher at lower temperature. Even our radio signal is influeced by
this...hence...if u really notice....ur radio reception and quality sounds
better during early morning or at night. They to do an experiement ur
self...with ur car audio system. Try playing the same song during night and
afternoon...make sure the volume is the same for both the time....best is
to conduct 1st experiement at night..and set the volume to the lowest that
u can possible so that u can here just all the sound and voices to come our
just nice. If u set too loud..than its hard to differentiate liao later
between day time and night time sound quality. then..with the same
setting...during a hot afternoon under the sun...try not to on the air con
temperature too low...just use the fan only....then u listen to the saem
song again...i bet if u can hear some differences....it wouldnt sound as
loud or as good when u play it at night..
