After driving Saga/Wira/Waja for 14 yrs,it's time to go for the ultimate
driving machine in the Proton stable - PV6 2.0E! in 05/06. Cannot afford a
new one at this point of time....What is the pros and cons of getting a 2-3
yrs. model beside the new smell? What type of maint. is required? How is
the drinking habit for RM10? Inputs needed to assist in decision making..

me waiting also, by the 3rd batch, my car will be due for replacement Tongue
Note sure if it is going to be a V6 but new Perdana in 05/06 is very
likely ... suppose to be larger also.

Ahpek,Knowing Proton's fame for procrastination,I believe the all-new
Perdana will be launch in 06/07, that's the right time to replace my aging
first batch Waja. This current shape is close to 10 yrs. old! If
Nissan,Honda or Toyota follow their trend, they will loose a lot of market
share. Vk9,is there any issue with the electronics with the gear-box?
Folks, let's provide more inputs in our expectations for this coming new
model - 1) Dual air-bags is a must,
2) As big as the Camry by stretching the Waja platform left-right,
3) Rear air-con blower,
4) Telescopic dampers for the hood,
5)
6)
Cool

the pv6 (before enchanced) look really attact me and i am in the market
for one few months ago. after survey and chit chat with some mechanics
friends, the fuzzy logic gearbox is spoiling the name of the pv6. most of
them will experience a jerky gear change and minor of them will failed
eventually. other than that, pv6 is really nice and comfortable car.

Really hope proton will look into this and get the gearbox replace in
their new model.

I do salute all the v6ers as their provide me loads of information during
my decision making process. Thanks.
