Hi g88,

I am looking for a maintenance free battery which can last at least for
next 2 year. The battery that I am using now only last for 1 year.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Arulthas.

Hi arulthas,

Battery life time is very subjective. It might state last for 2 years but
you might end up less or more.

g88,

conventional battery to maintenance battery is afforable

flat screen TV to Plasma is not affordable by every one Smile it is a dream
for everyone (at least to me)

lifespan for maintenance battery is very subjective like g88 said. i guess
ICE setup will affect the lifespan of batt right?

i have a question, 1 or 2 months ago, my dad open up my AC Delco Maint-
Free batt and refill the batt water as he does not know it is maintenance
free and he said the water level i slow. Do you think it will impact my
batt life span? do i need to draw ot those extra batt fluid?

ICE = In Car Entertainment.

Errr..event your engine is running but if you have heavy setup of ICE i
will drain alot power from you battery and your alternator will need to
work harder to keep re-charging the battery in order to allow it to
provide enuf power supply to ICE as well all the others electric needed
compartment.

Correct me if i am wrong Tongue

correction, when your car start, there will no longer using battery power,
all the power is genarate by the alternator, that y when you have heavy ICE
in your car you need to have bigger amp alternator (especialy if you
running on 2 class AB amp is power hunger, recommanded to have 95Am
alternator). when you load all the heavy ICE and eletronic stuff, it wll
cause more load to alternator and cause not fast enough to recharge your
battery, that is why it will cause the battery having problem for long run

Errr..even when the car started, alternator ran in order to re-charge you
battery....if you have bigger alternator providing higher output to keep
re-charge you battery since your heavy ICE setup won't this shorten the
battery life ?
