Is downpayment for Gen-2 refundable???

My friend have give RM3k for Gen-2 downpayment but now she has decided to
cancel the booking. According to the salesperson, it is not refundable.
Then he agreed to offer to refund but he want "Kopi money" in return. So
what i can do to get the refund? Pls help....

Dear vincetych, Gen2 dunno oh, but i think all the same one, like my fren
ah he ordered waja but later change his mind n tell the sp, the sp told
my fren to write a letter n fax it to them thats it full refund. Maybe ur
sp kiasu want to make xtra money from ur fren. Try talk to his manager n
see how lor.

actually i received 2 responses from my SA... he said that its not
refundable but can be used for another proton car... he called me a few
weeks ago and said now its refundable, but i'll have to wait for a month,
maybe, to get my refund... i told him i'll wait for the car....

not sure the downpayment can be refunded or not, but booking fee sure can
be refunded...if u go to the manager of that branch......as the
downpayment, i think u can do the same, go to the manager......

thanks guys... will talk to the manager....I thought all booking fees can
be refunded...

All,

I think I have read a comment from the forummers, stated that the deposite
can be refund, but have to deduct RM few hundreds from the deposit as
penalty.

Yup you are right, their system down for at least 2-3weeks.

Blackeye
