Hi theonehrg,

I was told by the boss of EON PD distributor, extra 3~5K for Airbag & ABS
version. He couldn't confirm as they were just allowed to take order when
I made the booking last month. He also told me that those booked their
car with Edar might need to wait longer as Edar has already taken too
many orders. I am the no.1 customer order Gen2 from them.

Ganth,

Can't they confirm the actual price? If you place booking to the full spec
model, and what if the price is additional of rm 7k.Then what they told
you was max upto RM5k, do you think you can get refund if you not planning
to buy G2 with full spec any more....

I think you should get their confirmation 1st. Try to get a proof that
will help you if they really deny the amount.

tom906,

I'm a little confused here. Although the 1.6E was listed in the brochure,
I didn't know that there were other different variations of the Gen.2 in
the market. Like you have mentioned, you booked a G type... what is the
difference of the G type as compared with the standard version?

thanks!

Schmitt:
Sorry for any confussion, I refer G type as standard version which
applies to toyota vios :-). You mentioned that 1.6E was listed in the
brochure, but I did not even seen the specs for 1.6E type yet. I booked
mine at the beginning of march, when did you book yours? Could anyone tell
me the specs of 1.6E besides this type have airbag & ABS? I once saw one
with leather seats at cheras pheonix plaza show room. It looks cool. The
SA even told me leather seats are standard spec. What a joke !!

At the time I placed my order, there was still no full detail of the 1.6E
price yet. I can still go back to standard version if the 1.6E price is
out of my expectation vs the extra features they throw in. Aside ABS &
Airbags, I do expect the car will come with leather seats cover. An
increase of 5~6K of price compare to standard version is reasonable to
me. According to EON dealer, energy orange paint finishing is only cater
for 1.6E version. Now I am not so sure whether this is true, as they are
members already owning energy orange for standard version. I was opted
for this colour even before knowing that there were two different
versions for Gen2. Initially I thought ABS & Airbags are the standard
features on the Gen2.

Ganth,

This mean you have booked the version with full acc without knowing the
price. From what you just wrote,"
I can still go back to standard version if the 1.6E price is out of my
expectation vs the extra features they throw in."

Is this mean the SA agreed that you to change back to a standard version
if you dun want the full spec?Dead

Beside, " According to EON dealer, energy orange paint finishing is only
cater for 1.6E version "
I heard that they do have a standard spec for this colour.

Bout the leather seats as the standard ACCTongue, it is what I expected at
the early state. This include the ABS & AirbagsDead. But STOP dreaming on
this....Big Smile

Yup, you are right ! They do allow me to change back to standard version
if I dun want the full spec in the later stage. The boss of EON branch
is my father in law's friend. I think the chance for me to change back to
standard version is almost nil.

I buy Gen2 simply because it is a new model, aside from the low fuel
consumption performance and great 0~100km timing. My motorbike fuel
consumption is much more higher compare to Gen2s. I was infact planned
to buy Waja 1.8 for my wife but due to too many known issues of the car,
I dropped the idea.

Are there any one able to tell me what are all the differences between
1.6E and 1.6 Standard besides the ABS & Airbags ?

Ganth,

Good luck to you. Beside, on the different between the standard and 1.6E,
we have to check with CHIPS or any one who have more information on this.

Thx

Ganth,

I also booked my Gen 2 at the 2nd day when it launched. The PE salesman
told me that it is 1.6 E version (airbag & ABS )with Auto-T but now it
seems like i won't get all this for the moment. Very frustrating. I just
wonder how to change it to a 1.6 E version since what i booked is the
basic version er...
