Hi All,

Just wondering is there any significant differences (Pick up) between the
CPS engine and IAFM in Gen2 at the low end portion?

As I can recall, the IAFM units in Gen is around 20Kg lighter than the
CPS.

Thanks.

Haha true...

Perhaps I should stated only the different in the engine not the car.

IAFM vs CPS low end power. Both 1.600cc

My advise.
Gen.2 DONT BUY IAFM.

The Persona would be a better buy because it is equipped with IAFM as well.
More spacious, and the rear seats are more comfortable.
Also seats are same with GEN.2 IAFM, use Fabric but different design.

Tested the Gen2 IAFM. Pretty disappointed with it. Tebuan is right, may
as well get the Persona. Since there was no Gen2 CPS to test, the next
best thing for me was to take the Waja CPS for a spin. I was pleased with
the handling and pickup. Xenon headlights is a plus. Low end torgue is
good. Gen2 IAFM feels heavy. Yet to try the Gen2 CPS yet.

I have no chance to test the IAFM. It seems like it got different between
both CPS and IAFM in pick after all.

Sorry to have this doubt on CPS and IAFM will have same amount of pick up
power as i read the tech spec about both engine.

I thought the extra 15hp generated by the CPS is due to the high cam of
the CPS which switched during high rpm and the pick is handle by the VIM.
As per tech spec explaination the VIM is just a electric version of the
IAFM which makes no differences.

Thanks for the information sharing.

initial acceleration, the persona iafm will outrun the cps. i have both in the house so i know pretty well the 2 cars. embarrassing for the persona iafm to lead the gen2 cps at almost every traffic light. mind you, the cps isn't slow either. just that for short bursts, the iafm seems to pull better. but when the road opens up, it is the cps's game.
Let's talk about driving again!

humm... sounds like iafm is better for "most likely usage" in city areas.....
