"front glove-box (gen2 don’t have...hehehe) - of course there is, we`re
P2 maaaa... "
By reading your above statement, one can assume that you are either a
perodua salesman or an employee of perodua!!!Tongue
Btw please don’t book the car without seeing it. The price hasn’t even been
announced yet and people have already started booking it. IMO if the price
is more than 50k then forget about it. It’s too freaking expensive. The
Toyota avanza which is also a 1.3 liter mpv is priced around 58k, and since
it’s not a "national car" Wink, the tax imposed on the avanza should be
higher than that of the Myvi. Hence the Myvi should be priced below 50k.

Sounds fishy to me when a number of people claimed that they have seen the
car but they didn't know that the Daihatsu Sirion sold in Singapore and HK
are using a single disc 2-din deck type instead of the built in one (like
Gen 2). I believe the Boon models sold outside Japan are a bit different
so when you mention that the dashboard sebiji like the Japanese one, I dun
think so. Even Kancil's dashboard also different from Mira lah, I don't
think Perodua will give us a high quality dashboard, even though, it will
be better than Proton's quality but it's still an average car for the
budget conscious people. I won't say it is a Jazz replacement model, it's
nowhere near that and I do agree, NVH for most Perodua cars are pretty
average but can be fixed upon receiving the car, that means extra $$$ to
be dumped on the car. I'll call that an investment.

I do hope salesmen from Perodua should avoid giving us fake facts here,
nobody is gonna make a booking with you unless we get to see the final
car. You can't assume that it its quality and specs are derived from Boon.
Brother, wake up, ini Buatan Malaysia mostly and not CBU unit. It's a $50K
car you're talking here, buyers will not be foolish to book a car without
test driving it. Sorry if I offended anyone but just geram with people
posting fake facts here and those fake Boon pictures really make me naik
marah. Giving false hopes to potential buyers.

Well, I believe the model shown in the URL you have provided is not the
actual Perodua model. Every country has their own version and if you look
at the interior from the Daihatsu Hong Kong website,
http://www.daihatsu.com.hk and if you compare it with the Japanese
website, http://www.daihatsu.co.jp , you'll noticed that the cd player is
different. Even for Singapore, the model is the same as the Hong Kong
version and seeing that we're in Malaysia, I don't expect our Boon to be
sebiji like the Japanese model. Like Vios in China, they have GPS built in
but our version got normal single cd HU aje. This is what I'm trying to
point out. We're always getting sub standard versions in Malaysia unless
your car is CBU lah, then that's a different story. Who knows, maybe our
Boon has a poorer NVH than their Japanese counterparts, the only thing
sama is the engine lah. Even the car body also, I doubt that it will be as
solid as the Japanese one. Malaysia mah, famous for cutting corners to
lower their production costs.

hi brother dohtl2,

all the perodua trainer already go there and training the new car already,
and there saying that the interior is 85% same as daihatsu sirion already,
why u still cannot believe them leh,coz of them want us as a consumer to
believe them so many people will go to buy, perodua will not make the same
as daihatsu model coz perodua have the R&D department then wat for having
this department ,thats why have this department so there can slowly
redesign the model of the car by step by step, like kelisa have limited
edition, special edition and now the new kancil design. after few year ,i
think the new perodua sure will make the same thing slowly to improve
inside and exterior, :).
