IIsaw,

Any particular reason why u prefer stock Wira 1.8 clutch instead of Exedy Metal Clutch as Variablevalve mentioned ??

i think its advisable to keep the clutch system in conformance with its designed in performance.

if you run a racing clutch plate with the stock clutch cover, there might be slippage cause the OEM pressure is not great enuff.

if you use OEM performance covers and bearings, then use OEM performance clutch plates.

if you use high performance clutch plates, then use high performance covers and bearing. the system should have matching components. it is also advisable to upgrade your engine mounts if you use high pressure clutch systems.

Unless you need the power or your clutch is slipping the stock clutch is
always the best compromise.

It's quiter than the Exedy unit, u can slip the clutch which you cannot on
the Exedy and the clutch pedal is much lighter and less taxing on the foot..

you can buy the OEM plate/cover, made by exedy for around RM400+

it is more than adequate for fast road driving, and the occasional track
days.
