Bro,

Can anyone give me recommendations ? I've read some forum on this but not
conclusive. Are the Monrole Reflex any good ? Anyone can help on the
price on the Gab Sports Absorber ? Is this every stiff for city driving ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Tks.

Try the absorbers and springs fitted on the Satria R3. They are
customised Kayabas if I'm not mistaken. I can't remember exactly (it was
a long time ago when I enquired) but I think it's nearly 2K for a
complete set of springs and absorbers.

Ask if they have slightly harder springs for the rear to cater for the
fact that the Wira has a boot and the Satria doesn't. But maybe the R3
folks will recommend that it's not necessary.

well.. tried GTi shocks and springs on my Sedan 1.5.

Very nice "take-off" look.

I rojak Wira 1.8 APM shocks with Wira SE springs on my Sedan. Mivec 15mm
rear ARB.

Front soft, rear hard, very syok in corner.. the tail steers by itself..

dangerous also if not familiar with the setup. Impressed an ex-crew from
MME Honda Malaysia but always get screwed by my wife (who drives the car).

Is it worth the money, 2k ??
How good is the product ??

As for what I'm looking for is something that is suitable for street use
and hopping to solve my problems of scraping the bottom when my car is
fully loaded. Tks for the respond so far.

>> Is it worth the money, 2k ??

Only you can answer the question lah. Some people spend a hundred bucks
on 4 shocks. Some people spend a thousand+ per shock on Ohlins or
Bilstein (and that's not including the springs yet). Depends on your
budget.

>> How good is the product ??

What does good mean to you?

In any case, the SR3 apparently sets pretty good lap times in Sepang (but
of course it also has very slick Yoko tyres lah). And since it's still a
road car, albeit in limited production run for enthusiasts, it can't that
stiff on the road.

>> suitable for street use and hopping to solve my problems of scraping
>> the bottom when my car is fully loaded.

Sorry man. No guarantees.

i have custom built heavy duty servicable shocks. rm 750 for a wira set
of 4. these shocks are about 15 per cent stiffer than standard, made with
the finest oil, shims and oil seals. plus point is that u'll never have
to buy another set of shocks again as these are servicable. corners well,
too.
