Guys,
Do you know where to get the upgraded ECU for mivec?. Looking for years.
Very damn HARD to find la. Any info for the diagram etc. As per my
previous mails with crockenbergmotor in Australia ('ralliart Aust), they
told me that for std engine it's safe to rev up to 9200 rpm. BTW, mine
rpm cut-off at 83++.
Last few months, went to N1 racing (sunway), lookedfor e-manage. Still
they can't do la. Reason : no diagram & whatsoever reasons. Now give-
up already , main top speed saja lah

if u wish to Mivec ECU Chip upgrade, Try Superchip. if help on Street use
but not on Racing Condition. it promise 10 ~ 14HP is depand on Engine
Condition. Some Mivec RPM limit cut on 8k+, some of it is 9k+. What is
your ECU number ? btw, r u using Mivec Engine now ? if yes, can u help me
on following Question ?
1. r u using Mivec or Mivec MD?
2. Does your Mivec got Air Flow Sensor?
3. Did u using Mivec KM/H Meter or use back Wira Meter?
4. if u use back Wira Meter, do u know how the cable jump ? so that wira
rpm can work ?
for anyone will know, pls advice me, TQ

keong ? 500-600 m ? hahah can can.. how come wan so far ? your top end
must be real good lar in this case hahaha.
WiraME, oh yes i got a pivot type of meter that eliminates my 180 cut. It
also can do 0-100m --> 0-400m runs. So far I've not tested the 400m
properly yet with all the wheelspin.. all miscalculations la.. if you
want to know the time it was 14.4 secs.. but i doubt that's the true
figure.
My next target : Port head, change to 1.8 block..

I don't stress my engine often so i think the turbo timer is going to
waste petrol for me.
My meter panel is Mivec Panel (rpm 10000) not the proton (rpm 8000) one.
Yes, of course my Mivec got MAP sensor.. my last one kaput already so i
just changed it recently.. pretty expensive though (RM400) w/warranty.

Guys,
I'm not using mivec MD. My mechanic told me that it's a mivec rs (2nd
generation mivec. May be later if i have time, i will post the photos of
my engine here.) i also don't know la. Too many version!. FYI, currently
i driving lancer mivec (not wira).
WiraME,
1. Answered already. transverse engine
2. I also don't which one is air flow sensor! Currently suing hks open
pod.
3. Mine kmh up to 180 only, so i use the RSM. I think it can't fit into
wira. Luckly my rpm is up to 10k. So whenever i drove more than 180,
normally i just base my rpm readings (eg. rpm 7k=220 kmh)
4. No comment.
My ECU number is 5299, engine code CJ4A. May be you could assist me
to look for the upgraded ecu.

but 2nd generation mivec doesn't means was RS version o... Lancer chassis
can up to EVO level o...
your ecu no. was 5299? let me find out for u the upgarde chip.
