Sawi's body very soft one like sardine tine tin, no sound proofing, ppl
outside can hear wife screaming when she dies of head injuries because no
airbags so she bang her head on the steering wheel and dies a painful death

I dont think she will have the chance to scream. Most probably would have
been knocked unconscious, and then bled to death.

After a month with the Myvi, here is what I think of it.

Positive points:
Ample space even for tall person at the back seat.
Good view.
Excellent sound proofing ( not a squeek ).
Smooth transmission.
Good air-con ( but my tinted windows could have helped ).
Reasonable power for city driving.

Negative Points:
Plasticky panels.
Bumpy ride.
Floaty feel above a 100kmh.
Uncomfortable seats with cheap fabric.
FC may be a bit high, don`t have any figures.

Conclusion:
A great compact family car for city driving. Not so good for long
outstation runs.

yipck2003,
Satria 1.3 an kick ass a myvi anytime of the day. Where do u get ur facts
saying the 1.3 is not as well built as the 1.6? The only difference is
the engine and even the 1.3l has rear disc brake. Unlike Gen2 1.3, the
Neo 1.3 has different final drive ratio which makes the car a whole lot
better to drive.

Myvi is being over rated, FC is indeed high au contraire of what ppl
think of DVVT. Well news for u, myvi is heavy hence FC is high and DVVT
is not that great. Reliability? Well there is a few myvi, quite new but
have to claim and change ECU. So how reliable is that?

No offence but you have to see the size of your wife, and her driving
habits. Is she afraid of cramped space? Yes, MyVi is somewhat overrated
and Neo is a bit cramped for me.

It all depends on her taste and preference rather than anything else.
Forget about being kick**** by whatever cars becos that is not the
purpose of these cars (ah bengs and ah lians would disagree to this).

don't be stupid compare two different cars, one is poor in quality and
low second hand value...another is good in quality and best second
value...u should compare Sawi and neo, not with myvi...Dead

Since the price tag on both cars is similar, instead of comparing it
would be more fruitful to list the pros and cons of both of them. This
way a potential buyer can decide which suits his taste or choose what he
thinks is value for money. Only the owner of the car can provide a true
picture, so it should be unbiased, if the information is to be of value
to a potential buyer. After all we are not SAs, so say it as it is. I
own a Myvi, it is not perfect, but there are reasons why I bought this
car. My take on the Myvi is already stated. I hope this is helpful.
