since you are going to spend money on a gearbox, you might aswell change
the entire eng.

comparing a wira 1.8 manual, and wira 1.8 auto. you will always be at the
losing end.. in stock.. the manual is already quicker than the auto. so
you have to mod to keepup.. but if the manual also mods, you are left
behind again.

but if you wanna mode, to get some extra power..etc.. better
driveability.. do so by all means.. but dont expect to go out racing with
people.

TRUE. And your eng is a SOCH enj as well its not the same, its way down on
power too.

Unless u just wanna have fun and mod out of interest, forget about
racing :)

hi mate,

if you change to manual, you will also lose to the manual 1.8 DOHC!
change to manual also not that cheap anyway... if you want power and yet
want to play auto mode, then go for mitsubishi GSR 4G93T auto version
then! if want to play manual, go for the GSR manual version! if want more
power, go for EVO but no auto lar... :)

tcf,

it's not easy to matching the mivec into the 1.8 block, the outcome also
dunno better or worse then before also... so, might as well change a
whole engine for not "pening ur kepala" later! :)
