Has anyone tried this clutch before? Almost all performance shops are selling them for $880.00. Thinking about changing to this clutch for my GTi. Or are there any similar ones out there in the market? Will the clutch feel heavy?

Yes, sporty cluth will make your petal heavy in fact very HEAVY ! Correct
me if i am wrong.
The reason is that its contain more "plate" and "spring" to improve
the "jerking" better gearbox and engine flywheel.
Normal ppl will install on a high power engine like Evo all that...not

Mine is "not exactly" stock. I realize sports clutch will definitely make the clutch heavier and I've tried some which are just unbearable!
Is that so? That is nice to hear. But how slight is "slightly heavier?!" If that is so, I may just consider buying it. Wouldn't be too much of a workout during traffice jams, will it?! If I am not mistaken, there is a choice between the 3 puck ones and completely "round" ones? Any performance differences between the two?

almost have an 'on''off' feel. You can't really slip the clutch at all.

Performance wise between the two?

but i would think the 3 puck has the stronger bite, especially during hard
launches. But for anything less than 300-400hp, i think you dont really
need a 3 puck, but i feel the gains aren't very much anyways considering
the difficulty that comes from driving it everyday. then again.. your
left foot will probably build up more muscles, and you get used to it :)

Is it the same one as advertized by N1 racing, Hokomoto(??), SS Racing,
etc. in the Motor Trader?
