Hi All Waja transplant expert,

- These 3 enginer GSR 1.8 Turbo, Mivec 2.0 V6, Mivec 1.6, which one is
legal to transplant into my current 1.6 Waja auto?

- Which one is easy to find? how much money I need to prepare?

- Anyone can recommend workshop that can carry good workmanship and
source good condition halfcut in KL?

- Is the following engine easy to source parts or share proton parts? Or
which one is difficult to find part? GSR 1.8 Turbo, Mivec 2.0 V6, Mivec
1.6?

- In term of gearbox reliability, which autobox will last longer and easy
to get another greabox replacement? I'm looking for automatic gearbox.

Thanks a lot for help
Willow

Wahhh.. 400hp on the front wheel? You must be brave to drive the car to
the max, there is a good reason why Evos are 4WD.

if u're looking for an auto, just go for the mivec. comes with tiptronic
gearbox, parts easy to come by. halfcut cost approx 5k+. no need to wory
about gearbox replacement, that gearbox quite bullet proof. u'll be
looking at a budget of about 8k inclusive of installation and changing of
all worn parts. if u're interested, e-mail me for more details. cheers!

If for legal, GSR and MIVEC 1.6 is legal. For Auto, both MIVEC and GSR
comes with tiptronic gearboxes. MIVEC parts are hard to source. Better go
for manual in both cases because if the tiptronic fails you... who knows
how long and where you can sort it out. Just my opinion.

As for Turbo or MIVEC, if you are hard rev, go for MIVEC. MIVEC Daily
driving better fuel consumption.
