Good feedback y'all. Agree that the performance of the Putra is like
nothing else Proton has ever made, thanks in no small part to the
fantastic Mitsu powerplant. Also, in my book, this is the best (stock)
performance Proton ever.
BTW, to an earlier question as to which Toyota has higher bhp vs Putra:
the 2000 Celica has a 1.8L which pumps out 180bhp, i think.
Of course it's SkyCap's money so kalau suka belilah. Like all the other
satisfied Putra drivers say, the Putra's ace is its bang-for-buck factor.

The question earlier actually was - "Which modern Toyota sold IN Malaysia
apart from the Camry puts out the same power [as the Putra`s 1.8]?"
I don`t recall UMW ever bringing in the Celica. Let`s not talk about grey
imports.
