You wouldn't believe what I found, last weekend I when around to
accessories shops to look for after market gear knob, wanted to find
something sporty.
While I was in Brother's puchong, I found that they are carrying GE's
Megalight Plus 60; H4 & H7 bulbs there for sale. There was around 8 or 9
sets (pairs) each. The boxes are labeled GE (not like the set I brought
labeled TUNGSRAM). Best of all is the price, brother's are only selling a
set (pair) for RM 38 only!!!! I felt cheated cause I paid RM 49 a pair.
Well, this great news for autoworld buffs.

I have a pair of H3 bulbs as by backup spare, however since it's raya, I
need more money for holidays. I'm willing to let it go to you for just RM
28.
It's a blue tint glass, and is very bright, brighter than regular H3 OEM
replacements. Collect from me at Puchong.
TQ.

Just want to check, currently i'm contemplating on either using a HID or
OEM bulb like Philips extreme power. Just a few questions:
1. I've heard a lot of people said that HID if install to original
headlamp, the our put is terrible (i.e. the beam pattern is totally
shooting everywhere), and this really makes me reconsider if to take HID.
2. Secondly is that I do a lot of night travelling, and my concern when
driving at night, will the HID/Philips Extreme power will provide me enough
brightness onto the road, will the throw of the beam far enough (approx 25m
is my ideal length), and will I still see the road during raining at night?
3. Which is better if I choose halogen bulb, is Philips Extreme, or Osram
Night breaker, or GE(Tungsram) a best choice?
Thanks to all sifu...

yes, me too thinking which is better? Philips xtreme power or Osram Night
Breaker?
Xtreme the lights are still yellowish based on feedback so i assume during
rain or going up genting on a fog you won't have problem.
But Night breaker more whitish right?
Currently using Osram silverstar H4 and totally love the bulbs
Looking forward to your feedbacks

yes, you won't be able to get a clean cut out of the beam pattern anymore
because the length and size (and the angle of the beam) of the HID bulb is
different from the original bulb. thus, this will result in an annoying glare.

I think at the price around RM160-180, and the long bulb life, I will switch back to XP if my Night Breaker gone. Anyone know the price for Vision Plus H4? And still available in the market?

i thought Night Breaker is slightly brighter than XP, as NB is 90% brighter than normal halogen whereas XP i sonly 80%

NB is definitely brighter than OEM, difference is quite obvious on my lousy PV6 headlights (universally known for it's bad output due to it's design), even more obvious on my bro's wira (not the clear lens type). In short, it will work better on those headlights which are better designed like myvi, savvy (savvy's dipped beam is very intense IMHO)
overall i'm satisfied with the money I paid for. XP costs double than that of NB but I am willing to pay if it can last twice as long (save me the hassle of changing it)
