The problem I am referring to is starting in the morning.
A bad battery normally takes time to discharge, therefore even if your
battery is weak and you are using it everyday, the alternator will keep
charging it. So if you are using the car in the morning, afternoon and
night the battery is kept charged. But normally once you are at home say by
midnight, the next time you use your car will be say after 8 hours later.
Therefore if your battery is weak, normally you cannot start your car in
the morning (most of the time this will happen), Of course if the battery
is near dead, then even using it after jump start, it will not keep any
charges.
To sum up, 1) once you have weak cranking in the morning or 2) slower and
slower cranking in the morning or 3) leaving the car unused for more then 3
days and you cannot start, then change the battery. A battery in an unused
car normally can still hold charge for more then a week (alarm and clock on).
If keeping unused for longer period, disconnect the battery.
Lastly as I mentioned before, get yourself a GOOD set of jumper cable. (Not
those jumper cable with thin cables sold in hypermarket) Never know when
you will need it. My set has helped save at least 10 of my friends already.

in a parked car. And to jump start a flat battery, it is not recommended
to connect a high AH(Ampere Hour) battery to jump start a lower AH
battery (eg. A Merc to jump start a Kancil). If the flat battery has high
internal resistant(ohm), the risk of screwing up your other component
such as ECU is there whereby the current will be repelled. But it's ok to
use Kancil to jump start a Merc. That's why most professional or modern
workshops use portable jump start booster/machine to jump start car
especially for outdoor service. And their AH are varied from 15-25AH,
even lower than Kancil's battery.
vr2turbo is right, use only heavy duty jumper cable to jump start, it
won't cost you a bomb.
To disconnect the battery when the car is unused for long period is not
recommended for most modern electronic fuel injection car. You may need
to reset the ECU or immobiliser afterward. For some cars, like Waja, a
short disconnection of battery is enough to affect the drivabilty of the
car.
Chris, to test MF battery accurately, the best way is to do dynamic test.
There is an electrical analyser in the market to determine the condition
and life of the battery, alternator and starter in detail. I used to
supplied them to some battery manufacturer and distributor like ABI, POSIM
(Hi-Rev) and Delkor. For aftermarket, some Tayaria and Shell autoserv
outlets has one, or PM me and I will do it for you FOC, at my office only.

lmst got not enough space to put in de NS70 battery tray. If insist..they
will just 'tie' de NS70 battery to de chasis (without tray)...
Is this correct? Has any sagarian put in NS70 battery into their saga &
wat must be modified?

just stick back the 60...70 maybe to much for your charging..

power..
The main source of current is the alternator..the battery is just
temporary

How many amp? If one or two no problem.
My friend's car got multi amp with a few sub woofer and all. Finally extra
battery was fitted, that means twin batteries
