The mod./conversion is for all marques or specifically for certain models

Lumen is the quantum of light emitted. Colour temperature(in Kelven, K),
is the colour emitted by a black body object when heated to that
temperature.

A good HID will have colour temperature closest that to daylight, ie round
4000K-4500K.

Anything higher will appear blueish and you have have poor visiblility
during rain / foggy condidtions

sherwin;

since my car uses HB4, i only got the lo light. HB4 got seperate lo beam
& hi beam in the headlamps. if H4 can get both hi/lo i think. but
probably slightly expensive.

8000k slightly bluish in color...

I installed one set on my car too. They claimed it is Xelux. But the name
printed on the box is Blu. AngryAiyo am I being cheated? Didn't ask much
question bout the brand since it is recommended by a close friend. RM1300
plus installation with 1 year warranty. Satisfied with the performance.
But the colour temperature is a bit too high. It is 8000K. Shoud have
opted for the 6000K.

Btw, I called Brothers on the same day before I have the HID installed. I
was informed that there isn't any H4 package for RM998 offer. Frown
