Lucky, only the connector melted but must remmember the heat produce also
can melt the cone reflector and if this happened it will costly to replace
the whole set.

Just stick to the stock rating (eg 55W/60) for any bulb upgrade and
you'll be safe.

For the Estima stock HID is 4300K.. This is the highest lumen in the HID
lighting than the other color temp(K). Is 3400LM i think... the more
highest color temp (K) is more less for the lumen.....

zeusson is right, you get the most lumens at 4300K color temp... 6000k is
still not too bad. Above that it drops..

As a comparison standard halogen bulbs only have an output of 700-1000LM

in KEpong, i was quoted RM 7xx for HID ... not sure abt the color
temperature , but its whitish blue .
