it is a pleasant car to drive but does not possess the top end that
deliver high speed but after all the car is meant to travel at low speed
or within the legal speed at great ease. Many comments in here by people
who never driven the car before and it is sad all kind of non sense coming
out from those people, well they stick to the National car or they can buy
a car that worth a Bungalow. I'm looking forward a great long time
enjoying driving this car and the saving in petrol money I get from it.
Well I still hope the maintenance cost not gonna be aas high as a Citroen
car but so far so good for mine as it is still new, guess to have to wait
and see and take care of the car as good as possible with regular services
and all.

For this looking for this car, get one and you won't regret unless u get a
poorly maintained used Kangoo, otherwise you and family gonna have a great
time with it. The space and all. However the standard car sound system is
little to be desired, hard to upgrade as well, unless u gonna lose the
central control console, which a great convinience to make sure driving
concentration 100% instead of looking down to fiddle with the dial.

It is a great car but very little available accessories out there. It is
just like having a Macintosh computer, great but never PC got more to
offer aftermarket.

I recomend the car as a good buy.

Foocat,
Personally, I like the car. It has individuality.
However, locally, I think its not that practical. I can't buy it on indiv.
alone.
I'm referring to servicing/repair costs that may be incurred as well as
possible DIY options.
But I'm still keeping my options open n my fingers crossed...

Take a look at the facelifted version of the Kangoo, that was recently
launched by TC Eurocars. The locally assembled version come with many
under the skin improvements plus cosmetics. It is quieter and smoother to
drive than the old Kangoo plus it looks better. It comes standard with
ABS, EBA, EBD and dual airbags (beat that AVANZA!) and Euro NCAP 4 stars.
All for 70K on the road. Good deal.

Servicing costs is quite low. It only needs a service once every 10K and
each one is about RM300 ( i think). The servicing is done at some Tan
Chong service network. TC Eurocars is a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motors.

Rails,
I was hoping maybe they could have improved/upgraded the engine as well, n
all done at a lower cost/price.

Dream, yep, I wish the same as well. I wished they had the 1.6 instead
but given how the euro has skyrocketed in the past couple of months I am
not too sure how long they can last at 70K. The price seems OK
considering the Avanza is at 63K and the car is basically kosong and
feeble plastic quality. Try the new Kangoo, the plastic looks like it'll
take a 10mm bullet in order to break it.

70k? take a look at todays Star. RM43,887, Registration, Insurance and
road tax excluded. This may be an Avanzaa killer. ABS, Airbags and
pretensioning seat belts! Not even the high end local cars have this. 4
star NCAP rating too! Again better than any local car. BUT....the
styling...you either love or hate.

Lastly...maintenance and depreciation....sell once the vehicle is out of
warranty. Depreciation is going to be "tolerable" compared to any other
European car where you may lose 80-100K in the first 5 years.

Combi and Express. According to the ad in the Star (Star 2 page 38) the
Combi is 5 seater. It does lack the rear side windows (not the passenger
ones) which is good as you don't want to encourage thieves all the time
