What's the price? If around RM 100k, it's worth. But, u have to chk the
condition & the mileage - below 50,000km - ok.
Maintenance wise, still ok - pls don't compare to proton wira. U should
compare with same class and standard, Estima or so....

Hey Bogeyman,
If you do not own a Espace, don't give wrong suggestion! Espace Gearbox
doesn't cost RM30K, it's only RM6K for 8V version and around RM7.5 for
16v version for full recon gearbox.
I must say, buying and owning Espace truly need deep pocket. If you can
set aside RM10-20K for repair and willing to life with huge depreciation
cost...I suggest go fot it. IT IS EXTREMELY GREAT MPV to DRIVE, GIVE HUGE
PRIVILEGE AND SAFER THAN ANY JAPANESE MPV IN THE MARKET EVEN TODAY!

Its obvious he wants an MPV, and not a normal sedan.
The Espace is a great vehicle. Truely one of Renault's finest efforts.
Comfort, space, driveability and safety are all up there in the list of
top honors.
Its not the cheapest vehicle to own...but then again, which European car
is cheap these days. In fact...even the Asian brands are getting
expensive. Take for example the Naza Ria which is inexpensive to buy but
not so inexpensive to maintain and run. That's the cost of motoring these
days.

try to have a test drive, you will love it.
I bought my Espace in 2003. During the Sunday test drive at Jln Kemajuan,
I press kau kau and brake, and turn the round-about, si beh song !
The salesman said: handling good right ?! This is Grand Espace, normal
Espace handling lagi best !
Oh ya, sometimes I have to remind myself during driving: this is MPV, not
sedan. Don't drive like a sedan !! ....because the car made me drive like
a sedan.
jcw9960, agree ??!

HI,
Agreed totally, owning an Espace for almost three years now.Mine is the
standard Espace. So far so good only problem occured was the Airbag
connector under the seat loose.Get it fixed at TC and so far so good.By
the way occ have you done the cooler kit at TC.Its for better cooling
for the gearbox and engine as I was told and its FOC.Do call TC and talk
to Mr. Shanmugam and make an appointment 03-79553288.I've already made an
appointment but only can send my car early next month due to these two
weeks its full.Hope this helps and enjoy your ride.
