Ok you guys out there!!! A need to know basis. MGF Coupe Cabriolet 1996
going for about RM65K plus / minus. Any comments on this car. Test drove
one a year ago. I must I fell in love with the design, both interior and
exterior. Handling is good, ride a bit rough but isn't it the same as any
other small CCs, of course nothing compared to my Espace MPV.. If not for
the silly Hire Purchase interest rates and the "I dunno abt this car lah...
never hear before la, like that must charge hire int rate loh..." comments
from the Finance company, I would have it spick and span in my house.
It may be my approaching mid life crisis , so gotta get sporty car
before I miss out this wonderful time in life. Any MGF gurus out there, any
comments is highly appreciated.

I think you meant MBF, right?
Bankrupt long time ago
Wait a minute you are right. There is a MGF! Very rare.
Perhaps the price can go much much lower, than as a midlife proposition
it wont look so bad

Unless it goes for a song don't touch it with a 10ft pole even.
It has suspension problems which is expensive ti repair.
Best to go for Mazda Miata MX-5 ,more user friendly
and reliable.

Parts will cost an arm and a leg for this pain in the arse!
Suspension, a/c and the power steering gave loads of problems.
Then there is the leaky problems as well.
The base 1.8l versions aren't that much joy to drive, if you want to get
one should opt for a VVC version.
Once drove one from Oxford to Manchester and then onwards to Newcastle.
Great car to drive, until it starts giving problems.
The fun to drive factor this car has is certainly there, but you could
probably get the same experience from a Toyota MR-S which is also a Mid
Engined Rear Drive car like this MGF.

you should consider MG-SV
anyway, its better to spend on Porsche Boxster than MG SV
