Hi Job,
my aveo is used by my wife and the mileage is quite low (3 months still
less than 3k!) so I really don't care about the fuel consumption. But I
could tell you that the average is around 11.5km/liter. I think that Honda
engine is the best in petrol-saving. I recommend you to take the Honda if
you think the fuel consumption is very important factor.
I did seriously consider City before but finally give up as hardly accept
its comestic.

To all Chevys,

Thousand apology if my participation in the forum have upset some of you
but I don’t mean any harm nor to create any trouble to all of you. I do
respect each and every one feedbacks and is just that I want to be very
sure and confidence about the product that I will be buying which is an
Optra 1.8. But I really don’t understand that some of you here like to
kick people away without any good reason and criticize them, is this
what this forum is all about? Well what to do I am a new comer….since the
majority of you here are a great ‘kamcheng’ of Chips then never mind I
have nothing to loose and I will just look at all of your emails from
behind.

As for Chips, I really don’t understand your reasoning of thinking that
I am somebody from marketing and my question sound like a survey…..say
nicely la and this is very rude of you. But what to do lah, you are the
Big Boss for this website and I know you very well you are a ‘Ford Man’.
You get all the good support and pampering from Ford, further more you
own a Ford Escape and everything are well taken care of. I guess this
Chevrolet forum have make you a bit offended but anyway do give other
people a fair chance also.

Well you did rather stick out.

It's a pity you're such a sore loser. I think Chevrolet has a lot of
potential here AS LONG AS IT'S MARKETED PROPERLY AND HONESTLY.

My, my, you are getting personal when all I asked is that you identify
yourself if you are wanting to conduct a survey for Hicomobil or a
competitor.

Have I said anything in this forum area in praise of Ford? In fact, I
praise Chevy a lot and have no problems with the products or the company
selling them. The concern I have is unauthorised use of our forum by
marketing people who try to save money while we have to pay for this
forum.

You are probably new here so you do not know how many times we have
caught cheapskate companies trying such tricks. If companies approach us
politely and ask to work with us, we may consider something, eg if Encik
Arba were to say he was willing to personally interact with our forummers
in this forum, we would certainly allow him to and even encourage him to
do so. That is an open invitation to any company but if the company tries
to do things in a sneaky way, then we don`t like it and I think our
forummers also do not like it.

More experienced forummers here can sense when someone is doing something
unusual because they see all kinds of messages and a genuine person does
not write the way you do nor ask the questions you do. In fact, the
following message was really really unusual (especially item 1):

"Item-1) Do you know what the logo symbolic is?

Item-4) Does the braking occurs all the time during braking of is just at
times? Why didn`t you send it to the service centre for inspection.

Item-5-8) Which area do you stay? Which Chevrolet Service Centre will be
the nearest to you? Hope to hear your comment on that once your Chevy is
due for servicing.

If you do know any other of your freinds who owns a Chevy, do invite them
to participate is this forum. We can make new friends and share a lot of
ideas....till then hope to hear from you soon. Thank you."

And then this one:

"wjf146,

I was just reading through this forum on all your notes and I would like
to share someting with you if you don`t mind;

1) Are you still having power windom problem? Is this common a problem
for all Nabira?
2) Why is the Asst. Manager from Hicomobil need to come over doing the
retification job for you? Can`t the dealer technician retify it?
3) You sounded very dissappointed over a person by the name of Raja Amir,
why is he not realiable to you? He did not provide you good customer
service?

Thank you."

All these questions you ask are very unusual, eg why do you get so
specific about ASST MANAGER and ask about that guy who does not give good
customer service. It all sounds like you are trying to look for problems
areas in the company and a normal ordinary buyer would not be looking at
these things.

In fact, I was discussing with someone else about your style of writing
and we already have an idea who you might be...

Hi Chips,

Maybe "wjf146" is specific about the Asst Mgr because his car might
be "handle" by the guy. Some of these Asst Mgrs do double up as Customer
Service Officer (CSO).

Nowadays, in my case for my last two cars, I don't get to see the
technicians anymore. These guys work in the background. Up front at the
the counter u have the CSO attending to your problem and keep records of
your car maintenance history. Actual job is pass to the service tech
inside the workshop which in many cases, u have no access to, I think.

Just my personal observation.

Hi ChevyChevy,

Chips is right about the unusual things you asked. If you're from
HICOMOBIL and wants to seek feedback from your customers, you just need to
admit it and be honest in your postings. All the forumers here will
welcome and appreciate your honesty. But before you do that, please seek
your CEO's permission to participate here. If you intend to run a survey
here, you can talk to autoworld for assistance. I'm sure HICOMOBIL can pay
a minimal fee. Try to avoid making personal comments. I hope I am polite
here.

Cheers. Smile

Yeah... Hicomobil can pay AW and they can conduct an online survey on AW.
Personally i like Chevy but I do agree that companies should not resort to
cheapskate methods to obtain feedback!
