No, no , no. Don't do that.
You can find good half cuts at Subang, after the old airport, about 3 km
after that. A scrappy called Hakitrade Auto Parts. Saw a few R19s there
amongst others...

it is a workshop under the shady trees in kepong. own by a guy who use to
work with federal auto and used to handle R19. now he handles mostly the
brick. the problem is not entirely with him, it's just that the parts are
hard to come by. currently waiting from quasar. they are curently changing
their management, taken over by tan chong(at least that's what i heard).
i'm giving it a couple more weeks, if nothing by then, i'll be selling it
as parts and buy me a car for RM3000.00. At least the parts are a lot
easier to find.

beside the problematic throttle body , the car is fine and driveable(for
me at least).
the prob is making the car idles at <1200rpm and there's no pulling power.
all parts are to go, except for the engine block. the car is still under
finance. i,m cutting my losses.

i was once told that for auto the computer must recognised the gearbox, if
not it wouldn't work. this is for changing the box with a recond.
for a mech i've have not found one that really knows this car(should've
bought a pug or cit), but will be going to tan chong motors for a test.
