this year. The estimate price is around RM 130k to RM 140k based on 2.0L
engine.
If the new is true, it will be nice if the new Sylphy is a CKD model so
that the cost of the car can price lower. It will be an exciting year for
the mid-size sedan competition especially Japanese model like Honda Civic
and Toyota Altis. We will look forward to ETCM in the upcoming
announcement.
Good day everyone

If this true, i think this car is not going to sell well. I also keen on
Sylphy, but with this price, I may either choose Camry or Accord. Just my
opinion.

model will be good for comfort..design wise so-so lar, rear end looks
nice but front bit uncle despite seeing those with full Nismo kits as per
SG model. If CKD price wudn't be that high.

in. TC still haven't clear out their N16, that's why they are exporting it
to indonesia to clear all their stocks.
so for Sylphy, 2009 would be the year.

could recognise the car. I think it will launch soon but if it is true
that price range around 130k to 140k, it definately weird since 2.0L
market is highly competitive nowadays.
with the lowest performance (133hp in singapore 2.0L version) among 2.0L
market, do we expect it can gain our attention with such a high price but
lower than average performance?
we have many choices such as new Elantra price at 93K, Lancer around 115K
and Civic in 128K. I do not see the prospect of new Sylphy if it sold
more than 110K not even mention 130K and above.

if sylphy was priced at 120K - 130K, definitely too expensive for a not-
so-hot a car.i take lancer@ 115K anytime or the comparatively "cheaper"
civic.

the venerable MR20DE has been detuned to only 131hp for environment and
safety protocols and thats a heavy lumber in terms of power to weight
ratio unless Edaran TC window-dress the glossy spec hand-outs. On the
positive side, buyers will enjoy the smooth and slick Xtronic-CVT trans.

eat your own words.
onionbay: You can catch a glimpse of unmasked sylphys near the plant so
therefore the launch this year is imminent... so prepare to eat your own
words too.
To those who will eat their own words... I`ll supply the ketchup
